We had a great quick lunch here. Like others say from the outside it does not look like much but the place was packed at 3pm on a Sat. Gravel parking outside made it easy to park. Service was great. Those double patty burgers and fries were great. $60 for all 3 of us. Lots of TVs to watch the game although 2 were not on or were not working.

Delicious! We looked up best cheesesteak in Matthews and this place came up. That was a week ago and we’ve already been back. The cheesesteak and Italian were delicious BUT the wings! The wings were probably the best we’ve ever had. The fries and onion rings were also perfectly crispy and seasoned. New favorite place!

We've driven past Steady Eddy's so many time and have always talked about stopping and today we finally did and we are SO GLAD!! My husband got the pump house burger and I got the chili house special and both were so great and full of flavor. I would eat the chili every day if I could. The service was great and there were just a few people in during lunch time. We will definetly be back and look forward to some games in the summer! We came back and tried the wings and Italian, get the Italian! You won't be sorry!

What a great place to go hang out with friends. This local pump house has some great unique food choices … Peanut Butter and Jelly wings with banana chips! Who knew this combination would be a WIN! Enjoy a cold beer, play corn hole or just visit with friends. Cozy atmosphere. Basement has sofas and seating. Upstairs bar and dining tables. Outdoor areas to eat and yes…corn hole too! Friendly staff.

The food was amazing. I had the Philly cheese steak with fries and 2 beers. My husband had the Gut rencher and 2 beers. We spent $60. My Philly cheese steak is the best one i have had in Charlotte. Our server was very attentive. Food took a bit longer than normal, but it is because it is made at the moment, and there was only 1 cook. To be honest, it was 10000% worth the wait. We will definitely be going back. We took almost forgot to take pictures of the food, but as you can tell, I had already finished 1/2 of my sandwich, and my husband was the same with his burger

We found this little gem by chance on Google Maps and hopped off our road trip to get some food. WOW, the best food, staff was amazing. Bar was so cute. So glad we found this place and if I was ever in the area again I would make it a point to go eat there. The laboratory downstairs looks like a perfect place to hangout with friends.

I had the mushroom swiss burger with onion rings. It was SO good. Fun atmosphere, we enjoyed the music. Downstairs was nice, we went down to explore but didn't stay there. We were a party of 7 on 3 checks. So they explained the food would be made and brought out by the ticket; It wouldn't come out all at once. I liked that better because everything was nice and hot.

We stopped in for lunch this afternoon after a LAX tournament and the space was packed. Another large group from a LAX team had pulled in just before us. Despite being very busy on a Saturday afternoon at 3:00, the staff was amazing. They were friendly and on point with our order, food delivery and the items we ordered were delicious. This roadside stop was a great choice after a long hot day. Highly recommend if you are in the area!!

So glad we finally checked this place out. Fantastic little "hole in the wall" type place with a ton of character, friendly regulars and great food. We had to try the Graceland wings which as expected were very unique and tasty, but that will be a one time thing, wouldn't make that a regular item. The Buffalo and the Blackened wings were both really good, with good flavor and good size to them. Extra points for celery, carrots and choice of dressings. We had the cheeseburger and onion rings which didn't disappoint. Good bar selection, but no good tequilas just mid tier and well grade stuff, but that's the only negative for us. Staff was helpful and friendly, plenty of welcoming regulars that shared favorites and recommendations. We will absolutely be back!

What a hidden unassuming local gem. We've driven by multiple times but never stopped, finally we did. And it was well worth it! This will be one of our regular stops. The food, service and relaxed atmosphere were perfect. The pictures are great. Highly recommended.
